Story starts in the past. When Val got under Dweller's wing and the nightmare that changed Zoann from warm girl into bitter and always ready to bite head's off and progressing into the last books present.
I was first apprehensive to read it. Because in previous books I saw Val's and Zoann sides that bothered me. Though I have to say after finding out about both of their hard past I become more understanding about theyrs behavior. But reading about Val's "Push and pull Zoann" game I was exasperated and ready to straighten him up by bashing his head with my tablet. Only when he was faced with losing her forever did Val got his head out of his a*s and gone to fight for his woman. He become more tolerable. Well ok I started to like him. Val have still his demons but Zoanns lowering her walls helped him.
Through previous books I disliked Zoann the way how she acted around her brother, being bit*hy and snaping at everyone who aproached her from the club. But finally being able to see inside her head made you release that this is just her armor's who are hiding beautiful but broken soul. When Zoann almost dies she finally saw that she need to let all bitternes go. She need to start living in present and think of future and not the past.
So if you are looking for action-packed, emotional, sometimes pulling on you heart strings, and other times so frustrated that you just whant to smack character's some sense but you can't help yourself and still want more, also that you just will wring your hands in deep intense moments and sometimes at those moments you just rolle your eyes? Oh, and don't forget the one of most important things in MC's books, dirty talking, hardcore hot biker's? Well you just found what were you looking for.
PS. A little warning. Kendall is still annoying as sh*t. You will be still wishing and praying that someone just shoot her. I did. If you read previous last two books you know what I'm talking about.
Zoann chewed her a*s some and I enjoyed the he*l out of it. A LOT.
And even on the better note Kendall was get riden off when you got somewehere half through a book. How club was relieved of her whiny a*s you just have to go and get Misbehabior to find out.

Additional Comments Even though I hurt for both Val and Z's suffering, there is a light at the end on the tunnel for them,no matter how f-up it is. I am hooked on the series and can't wait for Mortician and Bailey's book.
This was a monster of a Book & Loved it ....35/37 chapters WOW, but still could of just kept reading & reading.... It's intense as always... Hot meter off the scale ... WOZZER. I really love how Kathryn Kelly writes not only the couple the book is about but the others in the club as well... yes you feel heartbroken every time when Val does what he does & it hurts Zoann , Val (Matthew) had some of his own hang ups that in this Book You get to find out why he is like he is ....to so extent... a few tears shed.. had some laughs... & the way OutLaw speaks I LOV It... the way the Guys call OutLaw , Stalker Psycho over Megan .. I like that too... the way all the Guys are turning Stalker Psycho & they don't even  know they are...... funny as... Mort the quite sociologist figuring everyone out (& helping, talking things through) but his own relationship we get to see into some of his thoughts & dealings with Bailey ... ready for the next book ... you bet your Arse I am!!!!..... Kendall yes she's in this Book, at least in this Book Johnnie grows a pair..& sends her to.(& as OutLaw puts it!! ) Psycho Camp... absolutely laughed my Arse off...at the end of th book she's still there... & she needs to be!!!
With what happened to Zoann & Meggie towards the end I just hope like hell with what happened, that Val hadn't quite got around taking the cameras out of rooms & they have that to use against the Cops...
So to find out what Happened get reading people ... this is an exciting edge of ya seat ... OMG , no that did not just happen, OMG she didn't .. How could he... WT# Is he Nuts.. Jesus he his ... Awesome Book to Read.... Get To It.. -)
